​​At Fort Worth Therapy & Wellness, we believe healing happens when you care for your whole self - mind, body, and spirit. Life isn’t just about getting through the hard days; it’s about understanding them, finding steadiness within them, and learning how to build something stronger after.

Therapy here isn't one-size-fits-all. It's a collaboration - a partnership designed to help you reconnect with yourself, strengthen emotional resilience, and live with clarity and confidence.

You’ll learn practical tools to manage stress and anxiety, create healthy boundaries, and rebuild connection with yourself, and others, in meaningful ways. We’ll talk about the mental work, yes, but also about the sleep, rest, nutrition, and nervous system regulation that support your healing outside of the therapy room. Because true wellness doesn’t come from working harder, it comes from learning to live in alignment with what your body and mind actually need.

Erin Amlil, M.Ed., LPC, NCC, EMDR-Trained

​I started Fort Worth Therapy & Wellness because I wanted to create a space that feels inviting, human, and genuinely restorative. 

​

My approach is rooted in the understanding that healing is both psychological and physical - your mind, body, and emotions are all connected and constantly communicating. Using Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and wellness-based tools, I help clients process painful experiences while supporting the body’s natural ability to regulate and recover.

 

Together, we’ll explore not only your thoughts and emotions, but also how stress shows up in body, your nervous system and your daily routines. We’ll use practical tools - grounding, movement, rest, mindfulness, and boundary work - to create calm and balance that last beyond the therapy room. My goal is simple: to help you reach yours. â€‹â€‹

Outside of the therapy room, I try to live the same balance I help my clients create - staying active, exploring new places, and staying connected to what makes life meaningful. I love traveling with my husband, spending time with our goldendoodle, and finding joy in the everyday moments that keep me grounded and grateful.
